DES 431 blog post #9

 the second project we're working on is a kinetic based one, making jewelry that can move. Here's the link to my pinterest board, the most images added to it are where I'm getting the inspiration for my kinetic project.

here's a few of the drawings I have made up thus far:

 



all the circles are meant to be earrings, specifically large gauges, and different ways to add moving components to them. a riveted tube that spins, captive balls inside a concave slot, etc.














this is a bit of a simple mock up, and it doesn't really move on it's own. But for this I thought an interesting idea would be to have a metal version of those tile swap games, the ones where you try to recreate an image.
